The villages Recreational Department provides opportunities for organized sports and tennis,
overseeing five parks, playgrounds and extensive recreational programs. Swim year-round
at the YMCA, or luxuriate in the summer sun on sandy Long Island Sound beaches at Oakland Beach
and Rye Town Park.
Transportation
Port Chester is superbly situated for commutation, readily accessing Interstate Routes
95 and 287, the Merritt and Hutchinson River Parkways. Metro-North express trains arrive
at New York's Grand Central Station in just 39 minutes.
